History
History of our practice here in Clifton
Our practice has been standing since approximately 1947, where initial vet, Mr. E Cummins-Summner MRCVS, set up the practice.
In 1984 the practice was acquired by Mr Anthony Kaye MRCVS who renovated the historic building, installing central heating systems and hot running water. Mr Kaye’s young family initially lived over the practice but then later moved out to the suburbs.
Vet, James Pickering MRCVS, took over the practice in early 2009 and renovated the practice further. From basement to roof, James refurbished the practice with modern equipment in order to ensure the practice is able to provide a full service to you and your pets. From a full operating surgery to X-ray suites and ultrasound imaging to examination facilities, the new equipment has brought the surgery completely up to date.

One of the key components in caring for your pets is love, but our pets do require a few other things in order to be well-cared for.
Proper nutrition, vaccinations, regular check-ups and dental treatments are just a few of these and here at Clifton Veterinary Practice our vets and veterinary staff are here to help you.
